If you are like most people, there are three major reasons you might not have a social media presence (or at least as much as you would like to have)...

1. You don't have the time.
2. You don't enjoy it.
3. You don't know what the heck you are doing.

To be fair - those are pretty solid reasons.

So What Can I Do?

If you relate to one (or more) of the above issues, then you have a couple of options.

You could schedule social media time. You can rearrange your entire schedule and make sure you dedicate about an hour a day to social media. It means you will have to take time away from other business activities, but a social media presence is important!

Now, if you don't know what you are doing, then you will also have to carve out some time to learn. Maybe take a course at your local college. Maybe you can take a paid online course? If not you can start Googling How-Tos and trying to figure out what information is valuable and what isn't. If this is the case, you should probably schedule some time for research and learning as well.

What, you mean you don't want to dedicate multiple hours per day to learning and using social media??

Honestly - I don't blame you. And luckily you DON'T HAVE TO!
